If you’re free this Sunday–and if you’re not free, it’s advised that you make yourself free–you should come on over to Manhattan’s better half and join the readerly masses at the Brooklyn Book Festival. Amanda will be reading from her book, The Long Haul at 11am, alongside Marisha Pessl in a program called “The Anarchy of Youth” (how awesome is that?) in the St. Francis College Reading Room, and the Happy Ending Series will be making its presence known at 5pm on the main stage, with (drum roll please)…Rakesh Satyal, Jonathan Ames, David Cross, and Jonathon Coulton.
Do you know how difficult it was for me to refrain from inserting enthusiastic expletives in between all their first and last names?
Very, very difficult.
There is SO MUCH great stuff going on there that day, though, so be sure to check out the program and plan yourself a brainy, excellent afternoon.
