Satyagraha Envy

I am so envious of all you Satyagraha goers. I have never seen an opera and this is the only one I’d like to see. I haven’t even looked at the cost of a ticket because I already know I can’t afford it. Whoever goes, please give a full report on all I’ve missed.

In this photo provided by the Metropolitan Opera, from left: composer Philip Glass, Rajmohan Gandhi (grandson of Mahatma Gandhi), his wife Usha, and daughter Supriya are pictured at the Metropolitan Opera in New York during the premiere of Glass’s opera “Satyagraha,” which depicts Mahatma Gandhi’s early years in South Africa.
