So as of April 22nd, there were still some tickets left for the ridic awesome-sounding Haiti benefit ‘Rites of Spring,’ with djs Bjork, Tyondai Braxton, Dave Longstreth (of the Dirty Projectors), Alex Ross and Brandon Stosuy (HERS alum!), to take place this Sunday, May 2nd at Above the Auto Parts Store in Bushwick: 600 Bushwick ave @ Jefferson St.
If there were a facebook event for this party it would read:
Rites of Spring
starts: 8:00 pm, May 2nd
ends: “we’ll probably go until people stop moving”–Stosuy.
I plan on never stopping moving.
Tickets are only $15 bucks, but you have to buy them at Record Grouch/Old Made Vintage, 441 Metropolitan Avenue (@ Meeker) in Brooklyn (hours: 1-7pm). I just emailed them to check if there are any left, so I’ll keep ya updated.
UPDATE: AGAINST ALL ODDS, TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE AS OF NOW, but going fast. What the hell are you waiting for??

Proceeds go to Partners in Health, which is also the organization of choice for Joe’s Pub’s Haiti fundraising efforts.
Thanks to Brooklyn Based for the tip!
