Park Guell

Ced and I got on a vespa, picked up some bread and sausage and headed to Park Guell. Ced was practicing his diabolo (aka Chinese yo-yo). Something I noticed on tour with Cirque du Soleil – the performers often practiced skills not used in Saltimbanco. Diabolo, for instance is used in Quidam and La Nouba, but not Saltimbanco. Riveting stuff, huh? Wait until I start my lectures on hand-to-hand, wire walking and Chinese Poles! At Park G, we ate, then wandered and Ceddy quietly practiced his diabolo. Or so we thought. Soon, he had a pack of kids surrounding him, totally awed, in complete wonder at all the shapes a ball and string can make.
