My Editor

This little love is not only my niece, but my editor. As you may or may not suspect, running Happy Ending and writing my second novel does not pay the bills. What pays my bills — food and amenities, not so much — is a pseudonymous career as a Young Adult and Children’s book author. I am currently writing three children’s books for Penguin (ages 6-10) and my niece, who happens to be 9, is reading my book and telling me (in hot pink) what’s what. Not only is she right on target (I mean she IS the age demographic) but, out of the brain trust that is her singular mind, she has gone and done the impossible: conjured up a fully formed and completely genius character, free of charge. Well, at least for now. Top Hats off to my favorite L.
