| Hal Hartley’s ‘Meanwhile’ |
Filmmaker and our friend Hal Hartley’s new one, Meanwhile, is shot, edited and ready to go. Watch the trailer here, and if you happen to be in Poland later this month, you should definitely check out the prestigious Plus-Camerimage Festival, where Meanwhile will be premiered and screened as part of a complete retrospective of Hartley’s work.
In the meantime, we encourage you to help Mr. Hartley finance this gift of a film project by visiting his Kickstarter page and joining his over two hundred supporters in offering a pledge. In exchange for pledges, Hartley is offering is offering folks the chance to pre-buy the DVD or the CD of the soundtrack, plus lots of other cool stuff, including attending the New York premiere of Meanwhile, and hanging out with mad hipsters (including Hartley!) after the show. If you’re interested, make a pledge, a certain amount of bread based on what you would like to receive from the artist. Hell, if you contribute 200 smackers, you can even become an associate producer. Not bad!
