Some of you may know that I think I discovered Katell Keineg in 1993. Most of you know that just because I was lucky enough to stumble into the right bar at the right time to experience a musician of such exquisite power, doesn’t mean I actually discovered her. She was always there, singing, singing. I just needed to stumble upon her. And I did.
She’s played several times at Happy Ending and we’ve become friendly and I am still, every time, moved deeply by her performances.
She is coming to NYC and playing at the Living Room on May 1,2 and 9th. I’ll announce again as we get closer, but you’d be remiss not to write it down now. See for yourself…
