Fitzgerald was fishy

His wife smacked his face with a fish and then he began reading. I think it’s a Midwestern thing, not sure, but it was effective, because Michael read from his new book, “Radiant Days,” and was lovely at it. I have a soft spot for MF since he’s one of the few participants at Happy Ending who knows that I am also a writer. Not only that, but the man actually read my book (so did Jack Pendarvis! and a handful of others, too) and wrote me the loveliest note about it and said just the kindest things.
