Last night’s Happy Ending show was AMAZING. It KILLED. Matthew Houck played one “oh my god I have to get this album,” song after another. Melissa Febos hog-tied a volunteer audience member named Janette, Lucy Corin read an entry from her 1982 journal and Ben Anastas led us all in a debt-cancellation pentecostal prayer. Our photographer couldn’t make it, but we shot some video and hopefully, with a little time and energy, we’ll be able to upload some of that soon.
In the meantime, here’s an interview with Matthew Houck in today’s Wall Street Journal. They very nicely mentioned the Happy Ending Series and we are majorly appreciative!
