To celebrate the publication of their new book, Andy Warhol’s New York City: Four Walks, Uptown to Downtown, writer Thomas Kiedowski and artist Vito Giallo are hosting a reception and signing at the downtown Clic Bookstore & Gallery, tomorrow, July 13, 6-8pm. Four Walks aims to reignite 80 different Warholian locations with all the rebellion, mystery and quirk one could hope for–everywhere from homes and Factory spaces to clubs, museums, boutiques, restaurants, and various other hot spots both glittery and grungy. At the signing, the authors will read and converse, leading guests through a literary tour of various local Warhol-related sites and the Pop Art ghost stories associated with them. Giallo, a former Factory assistant, illustrated the book with the trademark blotted technique he learned from the master himself. If you go, just make sure you stay for at least 15 minutes because maybe-just maybe!-you’ll get famous.
